In mid-March, a story broke about a church in Black Earth, Wisconsin, whose head pastor and brother were facing child abuse charges. (You can read more about in my post Is Lori Wick Aiding Child Abusers? )
The update on that story is that the brother John R. Caminiti pleaded guilty to child abuse and causing mental harm to a child. The child that he caused mental harm to a teenage boy for “having feelings.”
Here’s what the article states:
“John Caminiti pleaded guilty to causing mental harm to a child, admitting to “shunning” a teenage son by confining him to his bedroom for four weeks for having feelings that the boy described as pressure and fear, according to a criminal complaint.
The boy said he had been told not to have feelings, the complaint states. During the time he was confined to his room, the complaint states, the boy was not allowed to go downstairs or do school work, and meals were brought to him in his room. The boy was ordinarily home-schooled.”
He also plead guilty to two other counts of child abuse involving two of his other children.
Six other individuals are also being charged with child abuse. They are Phil Caminiti’s son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Alina Caminiti, Timothy and Maria Stephenson, and Timothy and Andrea Wick. Timothy Wick is the son of Bob and Lori Wick, the popular Christian author.
